Callie Torres and Erica Hahn finish their dinner date and end up back at Callie's new apartment. Cristina Yang is 'on call' so they have the place to themselves. They reiterate to each other that it's a good thing they've decided to take it slow before the rush and tumble of kissing and groping ensues between them. The next morning at work, Callie turns to Mark Sloan to talk about what happened. She starts to tell him how it wasn't very good for her and he gets up to leave. Confused because he normally loves talking about these kinds of things, Sloan explains, "Two girls getting nasty and loving it - that's hot! One girl talking about how much it sucked - depressing. It's wrong, just wrong." Later Hahn checks in with Torres about how she's been acting distant. Callie blames it on the lack of talented interns because they're all tied up in the surgeries going on today. Erica then asks her for dinner and a movie later saying that she had fun last night. Callie says, "Fun? You had fun?" as Erica walks away. Again Callie tries to turn to Sloan for advice but he refuses her saying that he has "more useful things to do that dispense sex advice." It appears that he is feeling like he should do more since his colleagues are all getting acclaim for clinical trials and he is not. Finally, feeling helpless she explains to Erica that "I'm not cut out for this, touching, sex with a girl. I can't do it. I thought I could . . " she trails off. "But you did do it," chimes in Erica, "I don't understand." Then she gets it! "Oh. It wasn't good for you." It's eating Callie up inside. This time she's not taking no for an answer. She corners Sloan in an on-call room. "I like to be good at things. I do not fail, I do not quit. I need you to show me." If anyone knows how to please a woman it's him, right? "Fine! Take off your pants. I'll show you the 'Sloan method.' It won't be in a medical journal, but it should be. With new found confidence, Callie in turn, corners Erica and tells her, "Take off your pants. We're tryin' this again!" |
