| Callie Torres Loses the Chief Residency |
|
With all of the personal drama going on (her husband cheating on her and all) Callie is seriously falling behind on her Chief Resident duties. Miranda Bailey is tired of it not getting done, so she starts picking up some of the slack and trying to "help" a little bit. Well, it's only a matter of time before Richard Webber, Chief of Surgery, figures out that Miranda's doing all the work and Callie is really not working out too well. Great news for Bailey because this position is all she really wanted anyways. Her exact quote was "It's about time you noticed." I almost wonder if Bailey just did it despite Callie-she knew she'd get credit for the work. She made it too obvious. Every time Chief caught her, Miranda pretended to play stupid and say, "I don't know, ask Dr. Torres." Then he'd try to ask Callie and she was always "busy" with a surgery. It was inevitable, but I'm still a little sad that Callie didn't come in and rock the house. I was hoping to see Bailey get rocked when Callie stepped up, but I guess it's not going to happen. |
