So George O'Malley finally gets the balls to tell Callie Torres that he cheated on her and she "forgives" him. OMG! I totally did not see that coming. Props to Callie for trying to be the better person, but no way! I don't buy it. There is no way you can live with someone who cheated and work with the one they cheated with. You've got to be kidding me. We'll see how that goes. And what the heck is George going to do now? What is he going to do with two women-Callie Torres and Isobel Stevens. Isobel is taking every chance to confess her undying love and wants so badly to be with him and Callie, who was just "trying" to have a baby with her husband and wants to try to work things out. We all know the dude can't handle both women at the same time. He's a nice guy and all, but good luck, you're in over your head.
As a side note, I was thoroughly tickled watching Christina Yang drag Meredith Grey along for the ride. I think she really is sad about losing Burke and realizes she has to "turn off" that part of herself to move on, but I loved watching her pretend to milk it because she knew that Meredith and Derek were back together. Good for her. I hate when people can't have their own lives and have to try do things the same as their friends. It's okay to be in a relationship without all your friends having to be in one too. I think Christina kind of calls her on it here and I'm glad she did.
Is anyone else ready to just see Chief's (ex)wife buzz off. She is so manipulative. She makes me pretty angry. Chief is way too nice and gives in too much for her. He's trying so hard to make things work with them that I feel like he's jeopardizing himself too much. The truth is, he cheated on her, a long time ago, he works too much and Adele has stuck with him despite it all. Commendable on her part, but that doesn't give her the right to make his life miserable. And why now? After all these years of putting up with him? I don't like her. I want to see him walk away, but I don't think he can-it's kind of pitiful to watch him put up with it. more in this episode. . . |

Meredith Grey gets stuck helping her half-sister in the ER which does not make her happy. The last thing she wants is to have to see or speak to Lexie and here she is - working with her. After putting her off and trying to ignore her as best as possible, she comes to a point where helping the new intern out is inevitable. I'm watching this moment between Meredith and Lexie Grey when I think that Lexie is totally striking out for the third and final time-no chance to be sisters, but then you actually catch the glimpse of hope that maybe, just maybe, Meredith will finally let someone into her life. I really hope so. As much as Lexie really bugs me and is way too desperate, I think Meredith needs some family. Everyone should have someone and with how her and Derek are acting who knows if she'll be left out in the cold all alone. I think I'm going to have to learn to like Lexie despite all her faults and rally for her to give Meredith some support through all this. At least she's not going after Derek-I was going to be really upset if the writers had her pursue Derek like they had us believe at the end of last season. more from this episode. . . |
