Addison Shepard walks into Seattle Grace thinking nothing at all has changed since she left, but is she right? No way. She'll soon see how a lot has changed. . .A LOT!

After seeing how close Erica Hahn and Callie Torres are, Addison has got to ask what's up as soon as she gets Callie alone. She nonchalantly asks her about the "vagina monologues" and Callie gets awfully ruffled! "You think we're a (chuckle) Couple! . . that's insane. . .I like penis . . I'm a huge, HUGE fan of penis. . .," but you can tell by her strained laughs and distraught looks that Callie is pretty nervous about this. It suddenly occurs to her that there may be a problem with this perfect "friendship" with Erica Hahn. She casually asks Cristina Yang and Meredith Grey if anyone has ever thought they were a couple. Meredith explains, "No because we screw boys like whores on tequila. . ." "then we either try to marry them or drown ourselves," Cristina finishes. Now Callie is starting to read all the signals and she's a little more nervous and doesn't know quite what to do around Erica anymore.

Later, Addison is in surgery trying to catch up on gossip with Miranda Bailey (since it's come to her attention that her husband is no longer with the woman he left her for). So she says, "So who's the new mystery woman Derek's dating? Who's the lucky McRebound. . ." She receives a dirty look and first tries to correct herself thinking that maybe no one's using the "McTalk" anymore. Bailey so methodically answers her, "the woman standing immediately to your right, the one handing you the surgical instruments. . ." And there's Rose, standing right next to her the whole time, who replies "6 dates, heavy petting, lots of tongue-good guy!" Awkward silence!

Meanwhile, Derek Shepard and Meredith Grey are working on their medical trial together on the tumor patient. Derek keeps telling Meredith not to get her hopes up and not to get emotionally involved because it may not work out. Meredith goes into her therapist with five minutes before surgery to tell her, "I'm not the one who's emotionally involved, he's the one emotionally involved. . .he told me not to get my hopes up. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a hopeful person to begin with. . . does he honestly think I walked into this not knowing how hard it will be. No wonder we didn't work out." Then she excuses herself to go to her surgery to which the therapist retorts, ". . the one with no hope?" She rolls her eyes and leaves. The surgery ends up not being successful, but you and I both know she wasn't really talking about the surgery! The two part from surgery with a hand shake and a "it was a pleasure working with you today."

In true Grey's Anatomy style, it's time to go home and Derek is in the elevator. The doors open and in comes Meredith Grey, followed shortly by Addison. Then the doors open and Rose step in. As if this wasn't enough, the doors open AGAIN and Mark Sloan comes in to top it all off. He whispers to Derek "I bet you wish you'd taken the stairs." It was truly fun to watch.

So it all tries to work out at Joe's after work. Addison, Erica and Callie are sitting together when Mark Sloan walks up (who's ". . .horny. The nurses are shutting me down.") and asks if any of them would like to dance. Callie quickly stands up and takes the offer where she starts really bumping and grinding on the dance floor. Addison says to Erica that she's a pretty girl. Erica says, "She's Beautiful!" longingly looking at the two on the dance floor. Callie whispers to Mark "so do you want to get out of here." As if she has to ask him twice, they're off and running out the door together. Before she leaves, though, Addison can't help but to have a word with a lonely Meredith Grey across the room. " I want to kick your a** so badly right now it is killing me. . .I'm talking about Derek . . . Derek Christopher Shepard. Are you letting him get away? Because I swear to G if you let him ride off into the sunset with that doe-eyed thing. . ." then she leaves without finishing. I'm glad she said what we were all thinking!
