Girlfriends

Callie Torres and Erica Hahn have totally hit it off. They are a perfect fit. They walk in to the hospital all chummy, laughing and Cristina Yang is totally caught off guard. According to Callie, they were out drinking and dancing and it got a little out of control and late and they came to work the next day on no sleep. Props to the "girlfriends" who are living it up while everyone else seems to be in the pits.

Cristina asks Callie, "Why are you friends with my mentor?"

Callie replies, "A. She's not your mentor because she treats you like crap. B. If you weren't living in the hospital like a mangy dog, you would have noticed we were friends for a while."

"You'll put in a good word for me, right?"

"We don't talk about you"

"I let you live with me!"

Then Cristina's called back to the race of "the contest." Clearly Cristina hasn't got a clue on how to get through to Dr. Hahn, but she's not afraid to keep trying. I for one am really glad to see Callie happy and glad to see Hahn finding a place in this hospital. The two are a good match. Maybe a little too good as the previews for next week show the question of whether the two are actually a "couple" or dating? Can't wait to see where that goes! Seriously!

Cristina does come home, finally, to a small treat - finding Callie and Erica in her living room having a girls night. Completely out of her element and acting completely too formal, Cristina quickly is woo awkward to fit in, and is left watching the two from a distance, but it's something, right?
