Lexie Grey and George O'Malley decided to get an apartment together last episode and it is a complete dive! Full of cockroaches, filthy as anything I've ever seen-your complete and total nightmare. Somehow, Lexie doesn't notice, however, in her desperate need to be away from her drunk father and having really no where else to be she acts as if nothing is wrong. She loves it. George, on the other hand, is totally (and rightfully) grossed out by this situation. Poor guy, after luxury hotel rooms and staying at Meredith's house, how has he ended up here? Oh yah, all his women have gotten over him already. So the apartment sucks and George starts calling it a "crapartment." Lexie is totally desperate still to make him love it, so she spends the rest of the episode stealing hospital supplies to try to fix up the place. She takes everything-and I mean everything. I'm talking about urinals as cannisters, bed pans as fruit bowls, pee pads for a door mat, and everything else you can think of. The "new" apartment is unveiled at the end of the episode to reveal a good effort on her part. It's an improvement, but really I am still grossed out. Lexie tells him, basically, that she really needs this to work because she has no where else to go and she really needs a friend because she doesn't have any. George decides to give it a chance, and though he's still not excited about it, decides that he complains too much and he decides to stop - now - no more complaining - he's done. Hopefully things will get better for these two.
