Patrick Dempsey and his wife had twin boys born on February 1, 2007.  They are named Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick.  Patrick also has a 4-yr-old daughter, Talulah.  When asked how fatherhood has changed him, he said, "Now making money is about providing for my children.  And being a father makes you look at yourself.  you look at you marriage and go, 'How do I improve this?  How do I keep growing and create a stable environment for my children?'"   Several weeks later he says his sons already have "distinct personalities."  "Sullivan is very funny - he has funny expressions in the way he's taking things in - and Darby is very reserved nad quiet."  Patrick seems to be enjoying fatherhood.  When asked how sister, Talulah, is taking it all, he says, "Talulah is making the transition very well. . . Last week we had father-daughter time - we went and saw Wicked.  We'll start doing more one-on-one trips."

Patrick and wife, Jillain, met wehn Patrick came into her hair salon for a haircut in 1994.  They were married in 1999.  He says of her, "I hope I still make her swoon! Sometimes I think, God, would Derek Shepard do this? because I am certainly not a perfect male at this moment. Just trying to provide and communicate and let her know how beautiful and important she is to me--I think those things make her swoon."  At the premeire of "Made of Honor" Patrick says the secrets to a happy marriage are, "Love, humor and communication - those are the bedrocks of a good relationship."  He also says that Jillian is "immensely supportive.  Without her, I wouldn't be here."

He certainly seems to be living up to his McDreamy nature.  He makes me swoon a little with his perfect answers.  What a sweet guy.
